    A Manahawkin man was sentenced to five years in prison for theft by failure to make disposition when he did little to no work on homes damaged by Superstorm Sandy despite receiving nearly $700,000 for repairs, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday.

    For the 51st consecutive year, under an overcast sky, Ocean City's hermit crab mascot saw his shadow on the day that bears his name, meaning, according to city legend, that summer will once again come a week early.
